Elokuent, Inc. is a true example of how a young dream became a reality. It all began in a living room, where we created the “wow” factor for the significant events in our friends’ and families’ lives. Birthday party invitations, graduation posters, or how to promote a new business—what ever the occasion, we made it unforgettable. Shortly after, our designs and approach pushed us into bigger projects, and we became the one-stop advertising agency for well-known businesses in Orlando. In 2013, Elokuent, Inc. was established.
Our mission is to always provide a full range of services and be the one-stop creative agency dedicated to assist with all your design, advertising, promotional and Web-based needs. Our services range from the creation of a unique, elegant image to high-quality prints to a strong and innovative introduction to the virtual world. We understand this is a competitive era, one where time is the scarcest resource—hence our motto: Focus on your business; Let us take care of the rest. We are here to help.
Meet your creative team
My name is Pedro Turushina, co-founder and Creative Director at Elokuent, Inc. My specialty is creating innovative, professional and practical designs by embracing good design theory and maximizing the effectiveness of any project with full client satisfaction.
As a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Graphic Design B.A., and with more than five years of professional experience in the graphics and printing industry, I’ve learned the importance of outstanding quality. Working for two of the biggest printing and signage companies in America – FedEx Office and Fastsigns – has taught me the fundamentals of printing. Along with this experience, I have learned different sides of the printing business while exploring the wide variety of services: wide-format printing, screen-printing and offset printing. Along the way, I also had the opportunity to work closely with both big clients and also many business partners who helped me expand my knowledge in digital printing, embroidery, promotional products and trade show displays.
In my free time, I train at South Orlando CrossFit, which has become my second home. I always strive to become stronger and perfect my Olympic weight lifting techniques. I also enjoy spending time with my wife, Daniela, watching Netflix, exploring the different restaurants and activities that Orlando has to offer, and taking our dog, Apollo, to the park.
My name is Manuel Turushina, co-founder and Administrative Manager at Elokuent, Inc. My passion for numbers and curiosity in business trends has led me to understand the different aspects of running a successful business, and deliver great results. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Finance and a minor International Business.
I’ve had the opportunity to work for well-known companies such as Hugo Boss, Kenneth Cole, SunTrust and Westgate Resorts. While with these companies, I worked with and interacted with a wide variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. This impacted my personal and professional life, which helped me develop sales and management skills. Through the years, I’ve learned that attentive listening is crucial, especially in our fast-paced society.
When I’m not at my desk, you will find me spending quality time with my two boys, David and Samuel; drawing; building Legos; or watching my children’s favorite movies. I also enjoy kicking sand bags at the gym, playing soccer with my friends and, my favorite, relaxing with my wife, Sheila.
My name is Emmanuel Turushina, Production Manager at Elokuent, Inc. I’m the youngest of the three brothers and also the most tech-savvy. In my short professional career, I’ve learned that quality and efficiency are key in delivering a great product.
I’ve had the opportunity to work for growing companies, where I’ve experienced the importance of great customer service. However, moving to the United States at young age with my family and pursuing our dream has been the most valuable experience thus far. By staying focused and dedicated, I earned my high school diploma in June of 2014, and I am now pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. At Elokuent,Inc. my main role is to build strong relationships with business partners and vendors to ensure the best quality in our products.
When I’m not in the production center, you will find me enjoying time with my family and friends, especially my two best friends, a rescue dog named Simba and Siberian Husky named Isis. I also enjoy learning about modern technologies, always finding ways to expand my knowledge in this technology-oriented culture.
Senior Web Developer
My name is Jaime Herrera, Senior Web Developer at Elokuent, Inc. My experience over the last 14 years in the world of the web, mobile and desktop development, opened my eyes to understand and fulfill customer’s technological needs.
It all started back in 2001, using Notepad as the tool to create plain html code websites, where simple images were the only possible animated elements online. A few years later, Flash animations kicked in and a new trend of interactive pages arrived thanks to the use of ActionScript. By this time, server-side languages (PHP), database tools (MySQL) and structured data files (XML, CSV) entered my life, showing me a huge and complete new world of posibilities, solutions and integrations.
As a graduate of Fundacion Academica de Dibujo Profesional with a Multimedia Developer B.A., minor in Webmaster, and thanks to my endless enthusiasm for the subject, I began teaching web design and web development at a college level. Shortly after, I moved to Bogota, expanding my knowledge even more as I worked for IT departments for varios companies in the network marketing and communications field. Creating responsive Websites, CMS & CRM’s customizations, network and Email marketing solutions, Web service integration to contact center applications, SMS and mobile development and digital signage creation.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ruby, and my daughter, Juanita. One of my personal hobbies is building puzzles which helps me strengthen my creative mind for possible new Web tools, apps, developments and everything that involves coding.
